My Wonderful World of Fashion

The other day I bought this very scrummy book called “My Wonderful World of Fashion” by Nina Chakrabarti. It’s a beautiful fashion based colouring and activity book which I would have loved to bits as a child and think that I probably love it even more now!

I really love the illustration style in this book, which is linear and clean (perfect for colouring in) and the quirky, swirly typography. The way the book is structured reminded me of “Drawing for the Artistically Undiscovered” by the fabulous Quentin Blake (http://www.quentinblake.com/), in that it gives the reader hundreds of starting points to create and have their own ideas.
